Reeds Athletic Complex
Treasurer reported that the Classic DCYSA account’s balance is $50,726.95
The following items are still to come through the account: $3,000.00 Jonas’ pay, $1,600.00 tournament, $1,000 hotel fees, mileage.
* Coaches that intend on coaching Fall 2025 / Spring 2026: Lindsey Nifong, Juan David, Jacob Davidson, Roger Stewart, Micheaux Simmons, Meaghan Wesley
NOT returning to coach are: Jordan Lewis, Brent Lewis, Kristine Baker / Note that Brent Lewis wishes to stay on as an administrative assistant and would return to coach if needed.

• Update on bylaws: The bylaws were shared with coaches earlier today. The notes from the 1/23/2025 DCYSA Executive Board Meeting printed out for review. Comments and concerns will be discussed via email, text or another meeting called if there are multiple. I’ve been working on bylaws since August 2024.
• DCYSA Classic would like to have an account of around $20,000-$25,000.  What should we do with the surplus money?
  • Voted on by the Classic Board and non-opposed. During the Classic meeting with coaches and treasurer (Ashley Weitzel) none opposed, all agreed on the following:
    1. Reeds goals, nets and “give back” – we have never paid for field usage.
    2.D license for Jonas ($425), Roger ($425) Once the course has been paid for by Jonas, Roger and any other coach wishing to pursue a license, receipts are to be submitted to Ashley for reimbursement.
    3.Bonus for coaches.
    A. 11 coaches; Kristine, Roger, Lindsey, John, Jacob, Brent, Jordan, Micheaux, Jonas, Juan David, Meaghan
    B. Assistant coaches Nick Priddy, Johnny Leonard, Joshua Nun, Jerry Curtiss, Paige Nader, Kevin Wagner – Vote between Jonas Nader, Jacob Davidson, and Tasha Lanier via text. All agreed and none opposed. (see a screenshot of the text/vote below)

4. Give Jonas his $5000.00 – ** Jonas declines the money***
5.Bench to Midway for Coach Steven Mendenhall
6. Payment for Spring 2025 to Jacob Davidson. We have made Ashley aware.

CCFC is interested in a partnership/merger with us beginning in Fall of 2025 – there are concerns, so noted so this topic is tabled.
